RonJon grill

Am I the only one who thinks the RonJon grills are freakishly expensive? Seems like $200 would be a better deal. What does everyone else think? Nice though. Really like the black mesh!

I do not want to speak for Rondy, but it seesm expensive because you are getting the whole grille housing as well as the mesh. Those plastic parts are expensive. If you are concerned about the price then build it yourself...you will realize how expensive it really is. I have dumped a bunch of money into building my grilles, by the time you get the material and all of the tools to do the work it will cost you a lot of money. Had to do over againI would have bought the RonJon grille, but when I built mine his did not exsist.

I think the cost of the OEM grill from acura is over $200 by itself. That's why Rondy charges so much, because he gives you a whole new grill. He had a deal at one point where you could send him your current grill and he'd do it for cheaper. But I don't think he's even doing them anymore because of all the stuff he has going on.

I just reworked my grill this weekend. It looks pretty nice. Cost $40 and a little time.

200 doesn't even cover the materials. Price out all the grill parts you would need, then you'll see what I mean. Then you have to factor in labor, a profit (it is a business remember), and the free shipping, and its not a bad deal.

no, not possible....and the price is definitely justified for what it is. You're buying the WHOLE assembly, PLUS the labor in having it be a DIRECT bolt-on. There's so many damn threads on this, but you guys don't understand that he is using the entire assembly, which is a must if you want it to be a direct bolt-on. Either that, or you DIY and it won't be near as good as his.
