RON JON Lip Kit

The online instructions say that i need to put a C Channel beam for the side skirts. How long do i need for the C Channel beam to be? Also if the front lip on the side is kinda bent can they use a heat gun to bring the shape back. I got this kit brand new from this kid. Been sitting for 2 years. Never installed it. Thanks in advance. Anyoe know of a shop in NYC that can put this on? Also how much is this gonna run me to put on?

THanks!

Yo KrazyKrn Boi what was the width of the C Channel Beam they put in your Ron JON side skirts? Or did they re-enforce the side skirts with something else?

its very simple, like a box beam (square tube, with one side missing), can't miss it at Home Depot or Lowes. Just use a tapping screw every few inches, 5 should suffice. This is just to prevent the skirts from warping from cold to hot temperatures. And it makes everything alot more rigid at high speeds. Measure the sideskirt length and buy the piece a little longer. then cut it to size when you get home.

Ron thanks! Are the box beams one size (the width). I know that the length is cut to the size. Also are the tapping screwed in from the bottom. WHen putting the box beam in the side skirt should it fit like: pretend this is the skirt and the beam [[ or []
These body shop guys in NYC and NJ dont know what the hell im talking about. I wanted get it and put it on so they dont f*&^@ up!
