i just installed piaa in the roadlamps, dam its soo dam easy. If i would have known it took less than 10 minutes i would have done it sooner. Anyway i was wondering if the polarg m6 is closer to the stock color, all opinions are welcome.

 

How many watts is that?
Stock ones suck, and not only that, they burn out every 3 month.

 

stock are 5w small as hell bulbs, i laughed when i saw them. The PIAA's are 18

 

The m6's look pretty much the same as the 19224s, and they're both 18w.

 

Can't you have heat or electric problems from 18watts?
After all the wiring to hoop up the road lamp was only desiged to carry 5 watts?
Does dealership approve this?

 

It's not that big a difference. Aside from 'some' reports of a little discoloration at the top of the bulb houseing, no heat problems or electric problems have been reported. YMMV

 

My dealership's never said a thing, they've probably never even noticed them.

 

I just got the M6's and will install this weekend. Cant' wait to get rid of the wimpy stockers....

Ages ago Scooter & I compared cars. I had M6's, Scooter had
19224's. They were pretty much the same in terms of brightness.
I had pics comparing them but I don't know what happened to those.

 

I've had both the M6 and the 19224's (before I gutted the damn foglight and put real fogs in...) I remember liking the color match a little better with the PIAA's.

 

Is the last pic with the piaas on the roadlamps?
