Heat Question

My feet are freezing lately in the car ? The floor heat is mainly only coming from the passenger side. Very little is coming out the drivers side?

Anything I can check for ? Like a blockage of the vent ? Any help appreciated .

I haven't been too happy with the heating system in the CL as compared to some other Hondas that I have owned. I usually take it off "AUTO" and put it in the "dash and feet mode" until the car warms up. then I swtch back to auto. Since I <think> auto pretty much uses all of the different vents, including the front defogger vents, part of the warm air is put to use "warming up" the cold windshield which is obviously stupid and impossible. Auto is quieter but not the fastest warm up option it seems.

I cartainly can't quess that you have a blocked vent but since you say the passenger side works fine maybe you should have it looked at?

It was EIGHT DEGREES this morning and my car warmed up just fine.
The system was on AUTO and set to 70-Degrees.
It basically stayed OFF for about 5-6 minutes and then started blowing warm air like usual.

It DID take the drivers seat a little longer to start warming my ARSE up, but that’s expected when the leather is THAT cold.

I tried it on AUTO and on Manual Floor. There is nothing coming out of the Driver Side Floor.
