Road trip trouble! HELP!

I drove about 4 hours today and noticed the A/C wasn't blowing cold air. Long story short, the overflow tank that hold the cooliant was lost while driving and the only thing left under the hood is the hose that goes on top of the plastic Honda storage piece that hold the cooliant. I got a new piece and hooked the hose up and it is STILL OVERHEATING even when the A/C is off. My check engine light is NOT on... and when I turn the car off only the right fan stays on, I guess to cool the engine down. Anyways... Can anybody out there help me out?? Thanks!

bleed the system. keep the cap open until the thermostat kicks (takes about 15-20 mins) after it kicks you have to add more coolant and after that just close it.

When you bleed the system you take off the cap while the vehicle is cold start it, let it warm up untill te thermostat opens and keep adding fluid untill it comes out. Let it run for a while to get all the air out of the system then fill the resivoir to the line then put the cap back on.

hmmmm.... what I did was:
take the cap off, left the car off.
Then I filled the it by putting cooliant in the hole.
Started it up and it was still overheating....
I must of did it wrong because I didn't start the car while the cap was off.
Do you think I should drain the cooliant and try again, and if so, HOW DO I DRAIN THE FLUID?
Thanks... let me know ASAP!

i had simiar problem about 1 month ago. i replaced termostat. i bought it from a dealer it was about 30$ not sure and and after this opened a radiator cap filling the coolant till engine warm up. thats it. problem solved. dont let your engine overheat if that is happening set climat control at 90 deg thats gonna help drop the temp. if what i said do not help go to mechanic

a cd is most likely stuck, use a thin card (thinner than a credit card) stick it under the jammed cd and kinda jostle the cd out while pressing eject at the same time. Usually works for me.

nope. ER-E1 error is a common error that means your deck is shot. that's what the dealer told me. I have two with that code. I took one apart, got the CD's out and reset a piece that had fallen off a rail and it still doesn't work. I compared it to my (at the time) good one and it was all the same. once it gets that code, there's nothing you can do.

I took apart the center console and got to the CD player, got the jammed CD out, then reset! Thank goodness I knew the code because after I did that it started to work again!
LUCK ME!

I actually had that code once before, i just left it alone for a while because it was kinda warm since i had been using it for quit some time, try holding the eject button with the car off see if that works.

or take a really small flat head screwdriver and see if you can see if the disc is stuck.

yea me as well. I noticd I got the ER code when I had a burnt cd in. It gave me the code, and locked up. Then I turned the car on and off, and pressed eject a bunch of times and waited in between all that and it eventually coughed up the cd which i DESTROYED lol... and haven't had the problem since.

so.. that code doesn't mean 100% ur screwed
