Road Lamps turned DRLs
So i've been itching to do another mod and I've been kinda thinking about tinkering about the front lights.
So I was thinking about changing the road lamps into DRLs. I like how the MDX has them:

So im going to wire them to a constant (only gets power when the ignition is in the ON position) and I cant really decide if I want to get regular incandescent 18W bulbs or the PIAA 19224/Polarg M6 18W bulbs. I figure anything less then the 18W bulbs and they wont be very bright in the daytime.
and im pretty sure I wouldnt melt the housing right? Most extreme condition would be 2 hour continuous runtime in 110 degree weather.
The PIAA/Polargs would match my HIDs at night but would it look kinda "ricey" when they are on in the day?
The incandescent bulbs are kinda inoffensive but would they look weird at night with my HIDs? Im okay with the foglight look at night (bottom is "yellower" then low beams).
so help me decide and take a vote. I'll post pics in this thread whenever I finish.
side question, does anyone know if our highs can be independently adjusted from our low beams?

LEDs would probably be closer to Polarg/PIAA colored bulbs. I have LEDs in there right now but they look really whimpy, I doubt anyone could see them in the day.
Im probably gonna try to start the modding this weekend

why do them on a switch? light output is too weak to use them as real fogs.
Its either gonna be on when headlights are on or always on.
Installed the sylvania 921s today. Kinda disappointed on the light output but I just ordered some nokya yellow 921. Supposedly they have 2x the light output. If they look good them i'll keep them in and forgo the DRL route. seems like not everyone is liking it and the regular 921 bulbs may not be bright enough to run in the day.
