Take your time with that navi swap victor, took me about 2 weeks working on and off on it.

 

i wont know how long it'll take me until i do it im aiming at a week to swap everything and a few more weeks in the paint. ill have both cars parked side to side and do as i go.

yes sir this will look exactly like an 03 cl 6 speed when im done everything will be original basically. whatever i can salvage from my car will be going on my next car.

 

i have a question anyone here ever tried the megan ez coilovers? they have a 12kg/5kg seems like they have 15way dampening should i give it a try?

to do a painless straight up swap. swap out every part i had listed in the conversion thread. it will be pain free and you will not have to diagnose anything. The only thing left alone will be one of the ABS plugs, but mine still works fine.

 

I thought i read megan and k Sports are the same just rebranded. Can someone confirm this.

 

That is correct.

 

i've had ksports before and they're too stiff plus the megan ez coilovers are about 650. i was looking into those and the f2 type 1 but the megans have dampening and the f2's dont. im not a ksport fan.

 

Picked up the new ride lovin it so far tranny is still holding up even with 130k on the dash. Will post pictures in the morning. Gotta love acura

 

damn victor..sorry to hear about the accident man..but as long as you and passenger(s) and no one else got hurt...then at least that's a good thing..

 

yes i can say acura saved my life hahaha. ive been in a few hard accidents before none my fault and the acura holds up fine the audi got torn up when i ran into a wall.

ive so far got the motor and tranny out of the cl-6, suspension, and interior im trying to see if theres anything left the sun roof is last on my list. check out the bm i have parts for sale! The headlights i will be blacking them out myself, fogs i've already put in led bulbs, swapped my 03 exhaust over, and also my springs will take pictures later tonight.

 

I would just ditch the fogs all together

yes sir i have them sitting side by side tomorrow when i start pulling the motor i have pictures of my gf's car 2nd gen TL Aegean Blue Pearl thats coming out of the shop tomorrow. just finished painting it. also tomorrow if i dont get started on the motor swap or have time left over ill be doing the headlights just blacking them out for now. as for the fogs i like how it looks i know it doesnt do anything with lighting but just looks nice at night since i have 8k bulbs it matches well.
