get what every ones you like. or have a look in the wheels and tires section for ideas. just make sure you have a drop first. This car looks silly with rims and no drop.

i contemplated for 15 mins on whether or not to respond.
Gnuts said exactly what I wanted to say...

it's very silly for us to recommend you wheels, as each of us are DIFFERENT. like snow flakes.

even you are confused with which route to take, chrome wheels or sporty wheels...
to better figure out what you want, you'll need to ask yourself questions ONLY you can answer; such as what themes you want YOUR car to look like.
you'll need to visit the photo thread gallery to look at various different set ups to figure out WHICH style YOU like better.

agreed with Gnuts, ALWAYS DROP BEFORE WHEELS!

if you can afford BBS wheels then you have good options with good brands. yes lower the car first though

I agree with everyone else (because I'm afraid of original thought), get the rims you like. Additionally, get the rest of the parts that make up a complete wheel as well.

rims

just remember that rim offset should be in the 42-50 range.

I was looking for rims with a wide lip 1' or more , but there are none to be find with that kind of ofsett.

get ones that you think look good on your car. there are websites that u can see how they look on your car.

I bought my rims with only seeing a little 2 inch photo in a catalog. As long as u know what u like, you will be happy. The first rims I bought were not aggressive enough they were too polite and the offset was 35 so it scraped the rear fender with no suspension mods and proper tire size. Definitely pay attention to the offset, I learned the hard way.

I agree that everyone has different tastes. Some of the mods I did, some people liked, some did not. One thing to think about is the color of your car, and the other is your tastes. When you decide, let us see some pics..

Try and get get at least 8 inch wide rims. It mAkes the tires much tighter on the wheel vs a 7.5 inch rim the sidewalls will be more rounded/squashed.

And therefore you will get better lateral handling because the sidewalls will be stiffer as they are being more stretched than if they were on a smaller rim.

I'd also get 225/40/18 tires. I found this for me to be the best tire size cause it give just a bit of extra wheel well clearance. But if u want. get 225/45/18 but the speedo will run a few percent low meaning ur speeding. But going from a 40 to a 45 profile is noticeably different. Visually and ride quality wise.

There is no correct answer but hopefully me shedding some light on my situation will help clarify yours
