rims

JUst got my car back from the body shop to have a dent poped out and rear quarter repainted. When i ot home i noticed there is like a rough film over the wheels and i washed them but it wont come off. but if i scratch it with my nail it comes off a little anyone no what it could be and how to get it off

maybe you could try some adhesive remover?

Use The Green Stuff degreaser at your local autozone.. then wipe with a clean cloth, it worked well for me..

I think it was the clear coat was coming off.. bad news is that you have to do it everytime you wash your wheels..

It's overspray. Take it immediately back to the body shop and have them fix it. Typically a clay bar will remove overspray, but I'd let the bodyshop handle it.

And make sure you watch them, they might go the easy way and use chemicals like turpentine or some other paint remover and screw them up for good...
