Rims

im wondering if the ride on 19s with 35 or 18s with 35 tires makes a difference in the ride. if it does how much? anyone with any experience? thanks for any advice

It will be very stiff. stiff enough to damage a rim. I don't know why you would want to use 35 series on an 18 though. You can run 40 series without rubbing issues.

i had 19's w/ 235/35, and comptech drop...ride was stiff, but not bad at all, very liveable

I have 19s on 35-series tires with Comptech springs and Koni yellows. After 1/2 a year with the setup, I still love the ride. I wouldn't say it's a bone-jarring ride (as if you were in a Chevy Camaro SS or a Mini Cooper S), but it's more taut and controlled with just the right amount of stiffness to keep the car sporty. (I have the shocks set to their softest setting).

you better hope you don't lose too much psi whenever you drive, once I drove for a half hour at 60mph with a flat and didn' even notice.
