REVIEW: New Stone Racing Headers

Hey everyone, I'm from V6P.net and I just recently tested the new batch of Stone Racing Headers. These are suppose to fit the 6-speed also. I wrote a review on V6P.net and thought you guys might want to check it out. Groupbuy is also in the works.

I'm not this Nashua person you're talking about. Don't even know who that is. I've been a member on V6P.net for years now and I thought some of you might be interested to know how the new Stone Racing headers are.

Kind of a mistake posting here seeing how some people.....or should I say someone is just bashing the whole thing.

Hey bro, I appreciate the review you did. I was also interested in knowing how the fitment were since these New batch Stone Racing Headers (for Cl-S 6 speed also) started popping up on the market by SSAutoChrome.

Don't worry about some of the pricks posting shit.

For rbf351, if it weren't for people like BlackV6 we wouldn't have knowledge of whether the New stone headers fit well without doing it yourself and spending money to try it. So why don't u chill tha f*ck out. Just cause you got ripped!

Hey BlackV6, just wondering. Did you ever question the place you got these headers from why they don't have 'Stone headers' on them but instead 'XSPower"? Maybe that stands for stone..

i emailed ssautochrome, they replied back saying that XSPower is stone racing. I still doubt it somehow, but the only way to find out is to email xspower, they have a website!

Yea, seems kinda fishy. I mean, if it was stone headers wouldn't they just have that. Good find. Let us know if you figure it out.

p.s. ohh shiet, look what I just found.

maybe you need to shut the fu*k up, i already tested the 6 speed headers back on 8/27/04 and just like BlackV6 stated they don't fit correctly. do a little search on the fourms and you will see the problems with Stone racing. they are really crap and i'm trying to save people money, but if you like to throw about money paypal it to me instead

OK. As I can recall, many headers have had their issues. Some of the manufacturers solved the problem and some haven't. You don't know for certain unless you have had a good amount of reviews. Just b\c you have had problems doesn't mean others will. Theses headers might be crap but who knows for sure. I have spoken to 3 people who have installed these exact headers and so far they ALL FIT FINE.

BTW, I have done several searches on stone. Many say the later batches had less errors, so what does this tell me? All I'm sayin is you don't have to flame people just b\c you had a bad experience. You can state the problems you had. He showed us a before and after dyno, and his review on it. That was considerate of him to do so. So again, your the one that needs anger management. -Enough anomosity...

***If the STONE HEADERS DID NOT fit cars, do you think they would still be making it? Shit, they would have a crap load of overstock that was worth nothing -> I don't think they're that stupid to keep selling headers that didn't properly fit in our cars only for others not to buy it.

OMG,
1) I think he can defend himself for his crys and concerns.
2) I don't want to talk about it anymore so why don't you go back to the other corner of the forum.

i ordered these from stone racing last week and got them in today.. i installed them today and i cannot say anything bad bout them. i have a 1g cl and usually they require a stupid bend. but not these. they bolted right up. with the exception of the exhaust (where the header meets with the cat) it was bout 1 inch too short. i just loostened up all the exhaust bolts from the cat back and it fit right togather. and i can definatly feel the gains. so if ur interested in the gb they got goin on on v6p. id go head with it. especially if u have a 1g. NO BENDING REQUIRED FOR 1G'S.

You spelled "cires" wrong.

As for his problems, his situation is very well documented, so I wouldn't go bashing him.

This is going nowhere.....LOCK
There have been several posts about these headers in here, just continue one of those other conversations.
And keep the personal attacks out of it if at all possible.
