Reverse and Auto Down Mirror

Okay before I take it in to get looked at is there any reason the auto down feature would stop working on the car? Can't remember the last time it worked but it does not move at all when I put it in reverse. Is there a way I may have accidently disabled the feature? Or should I just take it in? Thanks

Your LEFT>RIGHT chooser on the mirror remote should be set in the middle position. If you leave it in either left or right position, it won't go down on reverse!

It is a standard feature on most cars with auto-down mirrors...you obviously want the mirror down when you're against a curb (reversing) but sometimes when you park in between 2 cars, you don't want it to go down!

I have no clue about the first-gen CL features, but I assume they only made it for the 01 and up CL's...

You'll even notice that there is a little picture of a mirror with a down arrow on it on that position on the switch...I just noticed that the other day.
