Results from Criswell and scratched rim

Well if anybody who read my last post regarding Criswell and scratching 3 of my rims here are the results.
I went up there and talked to Service Consultant Steve Savageaux and he was GREAT!! Somehow he remembered my last name and called me Mr. Wursta as soon as I sat down and even remembered how to spell it. And he wasn't even the guy I talked to on the phone last week. So I explained the problem, and he typed up my history in the computer and saw that it was a rookie working on the car, and lift the he used was smaller than all the normal lifts. So he explained that the guy probably scratched the rims pulling it on the lift. So he took me to the car bay and even showed me what probably happened. And when he asked to see the scratches I pointed out the ones I caused and ones they caused. So he said that it was no problem. That they have a mobile contractor come in that can resurface the wheel while it is still on the car!!! And since they are fixing their scratches he said that he will even get the guy to take care of the scratches I caused!!! Plus give a loaner for the day so I don't have to sit around!!
So I was very pleased with how things turned out. Espeically since the Service Director Michael O'Neill was being an ass on the phone when I called last week and Steve never even went to go talk to him to check to see if what he was doing was ok.

glad it worked out for you, some people are jerks, but most people at a dealership try to help in some way or another, sounds like you talked to the right person this time

Do you guys know of any such mobile contracters for wheel refinishing in the SF Bay Area.

The only shop I found that does it needs all of the damaged tires for about a week.

Any mobile wheel repair contractors in Chicago? Anyone? I know about transwheel, but they are charging $125 per wheel. I was looking for less.

Tks.

Write a letter to the dealership owner about Steve and how helpful he is. It will encourage Steve to continue and, in an off-handed way, possibly get a message to the other guy.

Can you take some before and after pics? We are all interested in seeing how well these come out.

I posted this back in august so pictures won't do it justice now. They didn't come out perfect, since I know where the scracthes were you can kind of see where he buffed them.
But when anybody else looks at the rim they can't tell at all and think I'm just being crazy. If I had to pay for it I would of still been very satisfied with it. and if I get anymore scratches I will get them to buff them out
