I am a dealer for Wings West and have called on the CL kit myself. They DO NOT plan on manufacturing one anytime soon if they even do it at all. On top of that, even for the older body style CL, they only offer spoiler and front air dam...

I'm not interested in a body kit... I don't see a point to them. They make the car look faster without actually amking it faster... Isn't that rice?

gawd .. that looks phat!! However, I am sorta on the same wavelength as Scorpius ..

I bought a luxury car; I have no interest in making it look like a street racer. Its like a comparison between a rolls royce and a ferarri. Both, are great cars, but one is known for its luxury, and one for its speed. If along the way I can make mods on my "rolls" to duplicate the speed of a ferarri, great! But as far as the look and feel of the car are concerned, I still prefer the luxury car feel.

this is just a personal preference ..

I've always liked the AMG type look. Something a bit more subtle but powerful looking in profile. That is what I would want in a body kit. The TL looks nice, but is just a little bit too much for my tastes.

Good for you scorp. But alot of us want to look different, just like some people like to wear jeans, and some people like to dress up all the time.
Most of us just want a little more agreesive kit or something that looks like the TL OEM body kit or the SEMA kit. NOthing wrong w/ that. but if ya ain't gonna help in pursuing this please don't input yo smart comments.

Thankx.

Joe

Also I've already sent a letter to ww including teh 100 or so names I got from here and still no go. Obviously they don't want to make money.

100 people X 800 body kit = 80000k

that looks like a good profit to me.

I agree, the kit doesn't really flow with the car's lines, it stands out too much for me. A slightly lower and more aggresive front spoiler would be perfect.

I also feel robbed that acura makes one for the tl but not the cl.

Also why do people get the spoiler? cause it makes the car go faster ? NO, cause it just make it look better. why didn't u just get a fast domestic car ? may because there ugly.
If acura made a spoiler they should of finished the job and made a full kit, like the accord, civc, integra, prelude, TL.

Also to alot of people how the car looks are more important to how it performs, ie. people who buy lower end models of cars like 525 vs. 540 and 318 vs 328, and civic dx vs si, integ ls vs. gsr etc etc... the list goes on forever. The car looks the same as the high end but totally two diff cars, But to alot of people on this fourm both looks and performance matters.

Hmmm, is it possible to custom-fit an Accord Coupe bodykit on the CL-S?

Best thing to do is for someone to go to a bodyshop guy who can mold kits and then give him the list of 100 people that want it. Im sure alot of people will be intrested in doing this. Just gotta fine the right person and someone willing to duplicate the sema kit.
