Resetting Maintainence Req'd light

Does anyone here knows how to reset the Maintenance Req'd Light for the 01 CL. Thanks.

Do a search mang.


Before starting the car, hold down the select and reset button at the same time for 10 seconds.
Then while still holding them down, turn the ignition on but don't start the car
keep holding the buttons for another 10 seconds and let go
Turn the ignition off. The light should stay off now.

Yeah, if they bought their CL new...

Alot of people are buying used 2nd gen CL's now and sometimes the original owner forgets to include the manual with the car when they trade it in (or sell it privately).

I gave the guy that bought my used and abused 94 tbird, the owners manual, original sticker, haynes repair manual, receipts, etc, but I'm a nice guy like that
