Resetign the ECU and Dynoing

Is there an real reason to reseting the ECU and immediatly doing a dyno? Are there possible gains to doing so? Or should the learned driving style be used when dynoing?

the reason for dynoing and for resetting youre ecu each time are: not to put up this best number you can ,but rather to have as close to accurate basis for comparisson...going to static fuel maps and timing will allow for the best possible comparo but probablly wont put up the highest number

So if I were to do a dyno with aftermarket add-ons I should reset my ECU prior do doing the dyno or let the learned driving style be used?

About how long does it take the ECU to learn the best driving style of the car? Can it be learned faster by simply reseting the ECU and gunning it a couple times?
