Replacing tint...

I got my windows tinted two days ago and yesterday i went back to the guy who did it to show him 3 places where it didnt stick (drivers side and passengers side window) and 1 of the 3 still didnt stick after he tried to fix it. He said that he'll have to redo that one. I also noticed that there is a blurry line in the rear window and I think that will need to be replaced as well.

Does anyone know what effect removing tint on the back window will have on the defroster or antenna? I'm just afraid that when they redo the rear window, they'll mess it up. I guess i can live with it if there is a risk. Does it come off rather easily, if so, how do they take it off?

Don't roll your eyes at me lil boy.
At least my tint has the lifetime quality assurance thing, never fades, never delaminates, never cracks or else they'll fix it! That's FormulaOne service.

And besides, they tinted over the whole rear window, which IMO...looks better than yours where they cut it.

they gave you that protection since it'll have problems down the road, I mean immediatly, ie, bubbling up.

If they are very careful when removing the tint, they should be able to remove it without screwing the defroster lines up. I've removed the tint on 3 of my previous vehicles w/out screwing up the defroster lines, good luck though.

Is it still sticking to the top part of your wrindow.... It should start to bubble off soon..... Also they can heat the window and spray a glue remover that will should not fck up the defroster as long as it is done before it bubbles ... Bubbling is bad

well my tint is all dry but i'm going to have them take a look at it this week. If they can guarantee that they wont mess up the defroster and antenna, then i'll have them redo it. The part where they tinted over the dots on the top of the rear windshield doesn't look too bad. You can't tell unless you take a close look at it. It didnt stick perfectly but I prefer it over not having it tinted at all.
