so yesterday after getting back from the mall someone backed into my car without any form of contact information. its gonna have to be replaced being that the dent is the size of a melon do to the sure fact that the bumpers are purely superficial. i was wondering if anyone had another rear bumper laying around. dont care what color just thought i would try to find one here before getting raped from a body shop. thanks again.

 

Why would you want to get a different color? That would stand out more than the dent.

 

I'm guessing he would paint it and just doesn't want to pay for the bumper itself...

 

See if you can't get up underneath there and knock out the dent, gently.

 

i dont want to get a silver bumper cause it wouldnt match my color. my car has 40k miles and the colors would be off a bit. so i would have a bodyshop match the paint.
