Repainting Bumper

Hey this is somewhat random but I've been itching to repaint my front NBP bumper for a while now thanks to lovely rock chips, misc scratches, and today's lovely incident when my mom somehow managed to back into it. There is no significant damaged other than cracked paint and a few scratches so I was wondering if any of you guys happen to know approximately how much does it cost to repaint and if its fairly easy to match due to the blue pearl.

it's easy to match and will probably cost you about $200-300 depending on who does it for you

Doobie, check out the meet section... there's a MA meet on June 16th... I think Eddie (sik01cls) was thinking of getting his SMR bumper repainted...

I too am planning on getting my bumper repainted. After i removed the front license plate there was some rubbing from the plastic plate holder causing a big scuff

I just got a quote to remove, refinish, repaint & install my front bumper. $565 total.
$365 if I remove the bumper & reinstall.

Sounds like its easiest to just remove it and take it to get painted. Its not hard enough to pay someone have to pay $200 imo

I just replaced my front bumper, $200 for a brand new Acura bumper and $300 to paint and clear, $500.00 total.
Make sure the mask the middle part of the bumper nice or it won't look stock.
Mine came out beautiful.

where are you all having this performed/quoted? I too wouldn't mind having my bumper repainted due to rock chips but have no clue what shops to trust...or is this something you have done at the dealer?

I went to one place that quoted me for $250 and I know another place that will probably do it for $200 (90% perfect). Now I wonder what the stealership will quote me as. It bugs me so much to see the car all shiny and then have this shitty lookin bumper thats not even worth waxing =/

I jus had my bumpers done, and trunk lid, that alone was $500, I've gone to the same guy for quite some time, and they can match it no prob.
