Remus Exhuast

Ok....I read a while back that someone had the Remus exhaust on a Type S. I've been searching for a while, and I can't find any info on it. Any pics? Price? Where did you get it? How do you like it? Just the general info thanks

xxY1xx from this forum has it on his CL-S, I spoke to him earlier about this...I've found out that they make Remus exahaust for the 99-01 TL for about $550, almost same price as the comptechs. Hope this info helps...I am almost all set to get this set as soon as spring time rolls around...

I may be wrong... but I highly doubt they make anything for any specific car. Remus only manufacturers mufflers, not cat backs. The price for the Mufflers runs around $300 dollars each and labor for custom making the pipes or welding them onto the stocks. Here's a ref picture. The chrome tips start to look bad without care pretty quickly. If they do make catbacks, it's news to me.

I am not sure if it is cat-back or not, I did not ask about that...I think it should be though, since the guy told me it's specific for the application...not sure, I will have to ask this question...

They only make cat backs for MBs and BMWs...everything else is a muffler that needs to be welded on....that's what the TL guys were talking about...IMHO, I don't think they are worth it...I had it on my Corolla.....and it although it made a nice growl...it was $$$..I think like $300 per muffler....single tip...dual tip..is like $400 per muffler...and we all know that we need 2....and the cost of the weld is gonna be at least $50....
