Removing tree sap ???

How can I remove tree sap from my car? I bought some Turttle Wax, bug and tree sap remover, but it doesn't work worth a shit. Any idea's ?

hah, funny you posted this.. i've been fighting this losing battle all afternoon.. there is so much sap on my car from the pine tree i sometimes park NEAR when at my parents.. ive been using goo gone but it takes that and a lot of elbow work to get it off.. im still looking for a better solution..

it works, but it takes a long time..

you guys might want to check in detailing but anyways try using a clay bar. that worked pretty well for me. i had some sap on my bitch but not no mo'

I was trying this earler, it works ok, however I scared it will damage the paint. I guess I'll just wash and wax when finished.

Baby Oil and a white towel.

I used it on my car in Maine after parking under all those pine trees.

It doesn't damage the paint.

how about gasoline? it's a solvent.. i think ill give that a try unless i'm told it's a bad idea..

Bad Idea rearding the gas. Just clay the car after washing with good car soap.
