Removing headlight housing

does anyone know how to take apart the housing?

Heat. Melt the glue then pry it apart.

stick in oven for about 15min at 225-250 degrees F. get some thick gloves (not the rubber ones) and pry the tabs loose then pry the whole thing open. its a lot easier with two ppl. one holds and cleans the glue and the other one prys them open.

do what u need to do, then put both pieces together and try to lock the tabs, then put back in oven for about 5-10 min at the same temp as before. when u take them out of the oven, press them firmly together for a few minuets so the adhesive can cool down and stick, recheck the tabs to make sure its all tight.

and hope for no leaks.

if u want to, try removing all the glue and re-seal it with the same glue used on windshield. I heard this worked the best.

My headlights started leaking in heavy rain. I used teh original glue.

i used the original sealant in all the head light i take apart, and so far, i have had no problems with any of them

Yeah everyone likes to use the oven. I wasn't too fond of the idea so i used a heat gun. Same premise, but a little more control. I used one when i clared my headlights:
