Here's a poorly scanned page from the Helm's manual I did for someone else:

Lift up and pull out the lower cushions. That will expose the bolts to remove the back part of the seats.
I installed my own springs and removing the seats were the hardest part of the whole install process so good luck!! (Just take your time...)

thanks bro just did the seat back only method...as per you and all went smooth...i can see the rear shock mount and i think you can remove them w/o removeing deck i can also see jounce and notice theres alittle bolt in the center of strut i wonder if ride height is effected by how much this is turned????

Yes, you can remove those two outer nuts on top without removing the rear deck. It would be a slow process but it can be done with the right wrench. Can't change ride height with that center bolt though. It holds the entire shock assembly together so don't loosen it without spring compressors on.
(okay, I'm out. Gotta take care of some stuff in CA. Going to be offline til Monday afternoon...)
