Remove the silence resonator?? Yes Or No

i want my exhaust a little louder all u hear is a hum from 1 to 2500 rpms..i got the hks draggers...what are the pros and cons in removing the silence resonator?? in speed and sound?

My guess is...it'll be so loud you'd be unhappy with it. Maybe not at first, but later you won't be able to take the continual droning. I don't think it would effect the speed much if any.

I think you might not pass smog if you do. From a friend...Typesdragoon, he mentioned when he removed his silence resonator on his Comptech exhaust...they were annoying loud. It's up to you...to each his own.

we dont have smog tests here in miami. anyone else with comments on this subject?? im more worried about speed loss ?

I doubt you will have any speed losses...the main way to lose hp/tq is to reduce back pressure buildup and one way to that would be switch to a ridiculously large sized exhaust pipes.

Do it for more power..but wait, don't do it, cuz it is noisier...but take it out so more air can come in..but wait, don't do it cuz it also can help support the wheel guard...arghh...i can't decide..you decide...
