Remove/Readd Spoiler Question.

I totaled my silver 2003 CL about a month ago (a week after having new brake calipers and a master cylinder installed ), and today I'm leaving to go remove the spoiler from it to add to my new silver 2002 CL that I've purchased. How do I remove it from the 03 and add it to the 02?

I've searched for a guide but came up empty.

Sorry, there's no edit button.

It's the stock version, seen here

Pop the trunk. There should be 2 black hex style nuts on either side of the trunk lid along the edge. Undo those bolts and unhook the light harness thats next to the in-trunk light.

Dont forget to remove the brake light harness that goes from the third brake light to the spoiler. Youll have to remove the carpet shit from the trunk lid to access it.

Actually, punched the button and the trunk popped open with no problem. Full of water though.
I went on ahead and cut the wire between the connector and the 3rd brake light. shouldn't be too hard to reinstall, I have both ends. I just couldn't get the whole thing to fit through the tiny hole twhs.
No, on the reinstall, should I expect that connector's male end to be in this car, or will I need to splice them into the current brake wiring (Car's not here yet). I intentionally cut near the female end to insure I'd have enough wiring if there wasn't.

If it's stock wiring from the spoiler then that should plug into the 3rsd brake light plug that's connected to the current rear deck brake light. If it doesn't work no big deal you can splice into the 2 wires in the brake light harness.

Also there should be 4 little indents on the underside of the trunk lid that is a guide to drill the 4 mounting holes.

But if you didn't cut the connector off and simply unplugged it, you could have just plugged it into the new car without splicing. It won't be hard, but you'll need to splice now.
