removal of resonator between the tb and airbox

removal of resonator between the tb and airbox

has anyone removed the resonator between the airbox and tb? i was gonna remove it and plug it. i know i wont gain any performance, just figuring maybe i would remove it

? Maybe that a CLP thing? I don't remember anything in that path on a cls.

i did that on the ct icebox and the car hummed like a mad man. couldn't take and put it back to the way it was.

i have a 2003 clp. i wonder if it was only on the 2003 clp?

Ok yeah it was CLP only according to my service manual. I see it in the pic.
You don't want to mess with that. It's there to quiet the intake. Removing it will as stated result in a loud hum.
If you want gains remove the resonator in the fender & put in a K&N.
