I have a viper 550 esp and when i had it installed i had the guy make it so that the parking lights stay on when i remote start the car. Well something happened and now the parking lights flash slowly when i remote start it..how do i get it back? thanks

 

Nees to be re-programmed. Any DEI installer should have the DEI bitwriter which is needed to program it. I'd go back to where it was done, & complain. Strange it suddenly just changed. I had my 550 set to flash the lights, this is the default setting.

 

Did you get the owners manual and install manual from the installers, plus do you know where your vallet switch is? If you did it's in one of them to do it your self with the vallet switch. You can change awhole bunch of settings. I have the viper790xv and I was able to change everything my self, but you need the install manual. If you don't have I could scan mine and email it to ya.

 

Naw, I dont have the install manual, get the regular one (features and such). I guess i'll take it back to the place where I got it installed and have em take a look at it.

 

just take back to where you got it installed, it'll take a second for them to program it.

and if you want your run-time for remote start to increase, they can up it from 6-8 minutes (stock setting) up to I think over 30 minutes. I set mine to 15-
