Remote Start on '01 CL-S?

Has anyone ever heard of or attempted to put a remote start unit in their CL-S? My buddy just got one in his 350z, as it's starting to get colder in the evenings and early mornings, and it got me thinking I should get one too. Any information is greatly appreciated.

I got one on my 01 cl-s. Its a viper with remote start and pager. I've had it in for about 6 months now and no problems. Hooked up to it is the factory alarm and trunk release. Only thing extra you need to buy is the key bypass module. You'll have to use one of your keys to put inside the bypass module.

Instead of making a whole new thread I thought I might as well just put it in here.

Whats the best alarm system works best with our CL's?
Which alarm system do most of us have?

Im thinking about getting the Viper Remote Start with pager but not to sure on which model to get.

Please include exact model numbers. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

ive got the viper w/ remote start, but i would like something a bit better, i have the trunk release but i want control of the windows too. but i doubt ill waste the money to upgrade the alarm system in the car now, ill just wait until the next one. so far it suits me, but 100$ for the damn pager sucks if you need a new one.

I have never heard of one CL here that can have a remote start. I didnt think it was possible.

Of course we have "heard of" and "attempted" these on our cars. They are universal. Pick out a brand you like, go to a security shop and get it installed or install it yourself.

make sure it is installed by a trained and trusted profesional. My friend put one on his '02 tls and it fried the entire electrical system which cost a F$%^en fortune to replace, he had it installed by circuit city who then fought not to pay for damages or even refund the purchase price(assholes) so be carefull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
