Remote Question
Guys/Wayne,
I recently lost one of my car remotes, and I was wondering if there was a way to reset the computer so that the original remotes will not work anymore. I'm afraid that the person that has found my remote might be able to get in my car, and since I have the only Acura CLs in my parking lot it wouldn't be that hard for them to find my car. I think I lost my remote somewhere in my neighborhood, it must have fallen off my keychain. So is it possible to unlink these remotes and get new ones?
Thanks!

Run this by the dealer.
They might be able to change the code on them. and give you a new remote.
I wanna know if we can update ours to the ones used by the TL-S they look alot better.

It just needs to be reprogrammed. When you do the reprogramming, all the old codes are cleared and only the ones you put in at that time will work. Buy a new remote, then have your remaining old one and the new one done at the same time. the lost one then won't work. Or, just reprogram the one you have and only that one will work.
