I assume you didn't look at the dyno's available aready for the SB application.
No hard numbers yet as I haven't had a free moment in the last few weeks. But I did inquire about this from someone who has been developing turbo systems for well over twenty years including mid/late '80's F1 cars.
Gerhard Shruf's take on it was more positive than I expected. In fact he has designed several remote mounted systems over ten years ago. However, there was a caveat. He only used VG (Variable Geometry), or rather the VATN (Variable Area Turbine Nozzles) turbos; the Aerocharger. His feeling is that a conventional turbo is not the ideal approach:
The Aerocharger also has an advantage of being self lubricated. As for perfomance even remote mounted; it worked exceptionally well. But then again, these turbos are not cheap though nor do they seem widely available.

Conceptionally, the STS Turbo System is based on the right Idea; except, for optimum Performance, a conventional Turbocharger is insuffufficient
