Remember a post awhile back concerning this:



I ran thru the new Helm manual and it does say it's a light! Not sure how to get it to work tho Need to read the page. For those who have the new helm's...it's on page 22-100 something. Any thoughts?

 

Where exactly is that?

 

that piece is the bottom portion of the center console. you can see the hole on the right where the shifter would be, and to the left of the hole, you can see where the plastic is split in two, one for the power outlet, and the money ashtray,

so that light is right above that. could the light be for the ashtray for when the parking lights are turned on?

 

hmmmmm, looks like the little light behind the ashtray. might be wrong tho....

 

On the 2001 Helms... there is no light what so ever,, and the mentioned page shows something else.

 

I'll scan the page in tonight or so....if ACL would stop going down.
