Reduce lift on acceleration?

Is there anything that will reduce lift on acceleration?

I know when I'm stopped at a light and I gun it, the front end of the car lifts ALOT. How can I reduce that?

Wheelie Bars!!

j/k

Seriously that is a problem of front wheel drive cars. When you go the torque shifts the car back and lifts weight of the drive wheel. Hence this is why dragsters are rearwheel drive.

Well, there are a few ways. The most aesthetic way is to get stiffer springs/shocks in the back than the front. Go for a set of coilovers where you can get stiffer springs and dial in stiffer rebound/damping. You will reduce the squat inherent in all cars when accelerating from a stop.

This "lift" wasn't something I really noticed until I got rid of it for the most part.
I have Koni Yellows and stiffer springs. The stiffer suspension results in noticable decrease in front end lift on full out acceleration from a stop. I noticed this almost immediately, and it was a welcome benefit of improving the suspension.
The car is more fun now because when you floor it, it feels like all that momentum and energy are directed straight forward and not any "wasted" on lift. Well, I think it is cool.

I think it's fine, still smooth on most surfaces, but you can feel the difference on others. It just feels right for me.

Or, you could add wheelweights up front or hang some 50 pounders off the front bumper a la tractor pullers!! LOL
