Your best bet would be to paint your calipers RED. It'll add 10 HP.........

mine are painted black and look nice. so if you want just a nice clean look, go black. red is way to flashy for just stock calipers.

if you do decide to order the brembo covers you might also be interested in the interfooler.

Paint them black. Either high temp black spray paint, or brake caliper paint will work fine.

Just get some black caliper paint down at pepboys/autozone I think red calipers might look ok on a San Marino Red CL, but on other color CLS's it's just not right.

I have to agree don't paint them at all. ON THE OTHER HAND, everyone knows that if you paint your calipers red or THROW STICKERS on your car....your going to gain a MINIMUM of 10 EXTRA HP.
Give the kid a brake...he wants more HP. I know want more hp.

Just do what you want. If you want to paint them red I say do it. I've painted two of my previous car's calipers red and no one said anything negative about them, at least not to my face! I personally loved my CL's calipers after I painted them copper/gold.

What color is your CL?

if you want a clean look, i would also suggest what some others have said about painting them black...you can pick up a "Caliper Painting Kit" from autozone i think it's like 10-15 bucks...

These are mine...They look better if you get black paint for the rotors, but that's if you have a little rust or grime on them. I used Dupli-Color Red Caliper paint from Autozone (It's a self applicant kit with caliper cleaner that you put on first) and I also got black caliper paint in a spray can...Turned out really nice and also helps prevent some of that break dust if you do it correctly.

I painted my calipers red on my NBP CL-S, it looks great, ties in with the red tail lights. And it just compliments the drilled/slotted rotors. I don't see how its rice.

Here's what mine looked like, though the tended to look more orange in pictures, but in person much more metallic copper in color, just like the G35/350Z bembro calipers.

It all depends on what color body you have. I have a NBP, so i went with Red Caliper. I strongly recommand G2 Caliper Paint, work so well and very glossy. I don't think its that ricey
