Red Calipers
Red Calipers
Hey, I was wondering whats generally used to get the calipers red on our CLs. I've heard of some kits, anyone every try them out? If so, how hard was the installation/painting?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Generally you'd use paint or powder coat. The difficulty of the job depends how how good you want them to turn out and how long you want it to last.
I personally wouldn't paint them red. The stock calipers are pretty ugly IMO. I had mine powder coated black to hide them.

^^ Listen to the man. Stock Calipers on the CLS are reallly ugly. Paint them black, or silver if you must, but not red my brotha.
If you don't want to spend the $$ on powder coating, you can always buy the G2 brake caliper pain system, I used it on a 2 nd Gen Eclipse I had and it came out great, just be sure to multi coat, of the year I had the car after doing it, I had no chips or fading.
