rebuilt transmisions

I was just taking to somebody from level 10, and they said that if I want to strengthen my transmission, I should get a PTS transmission and a new torque converter. I'm nervous though, if I screw with the transmission like that, and then it gives out anyway, acura will just tel me that thats the reasonwhy, so it wont be covered under warranty. What do you guys think?

Wait until the tranny goes out!!

I would suggest waiting for the tranny to go out before messing with it, that way you won't have to worry about Acura not warrantying it or not. The transmission is going to be pretty expensive (even the L10 rebuild), and unless you have money to throw around I wouldn't worry about it until the transmission actually goes bad and Acura tells you they won't replace it under warranty.

I was also thinking about this. What type of warranty does Level 10 have on their work?

I would wait!! If you go messing w/ the tranny and it goes any way...you are going to have 1 hell of a time convincing Acura it was from something other than the L10 upgrades.
