Recently my rearview mirror started to get cloudy....

I'd shut off the auto tint mode to reset it and it would clear up. Park Ave Acura replaced it the other day when I came in to get my radio/cd replaced. Of course Jens did a great job as usual!!!

Just figured I'd pass this on to everyone.....

 

Mine is actually going to need replacing too. Whatever it has in it that does the "Auto dimming" is no longer working. The lower right hand part of the mirror stays undimmed while the rest dims. No big deal really, im sure Acura doesn't even make the mirror. I plan to have it replaced along with getting this clear plastic type stuff that is starting to stick out on the driver side door sill removed the next time I take the car in for a oil change.

 

why you have your radio replaced?

 

I don' know about his, but I had mine replaced too. LCD went wacko sometimes. Started generating random characters. Half the time you couldn't tell what the hell was going on!

Funny thing is, every time I took it in for the dealer to check it out, it would mysteriously clear up, and act normal. So... the last time in, it whacked out right after I left! Came straight home, and took a couple digipics. Emailed them to the service advisor. Swapped out no problem.

Gotta love the world of digital photography...
