Rearview Mirror

H, I have a 01 CL-S and my rearview mirror does not seem to be dimming anymore. I never had a leak of any liquid from the mirror. I called Acura dealer and they told me I just need to replace it for 130 bucks. Does this sound right ?
thanks for any suggestions.

I just had mine replaced last week. No visable leak either. However as it was slowly dying I saw a "spot" in the middle of the mirror get smaller and smaller and smaller.

My mirror hasn't worked for so long --- wow...what a difference the new one makes.

Mine was about $130-140 installed I think...plus or minus a couple of bucks. Don't have the invoice in front of me right now.

Do a search for this on the TL board. I had a similar problem, but my mirror wouldn't "undim." The manufacturer of the mirror, Magna Donnelly, sent me a replacement mirror free of charge. A few minutes to install and all is well once again!
