Rear window brake light.. how to remove bulb?

Rear window brake light.. how to remove bulb?

I want to get at the bulb on the rear window brake light on an 03 CL-S. Any idea on how to get at the bulb I need to know how to get to the bulb.

I think it is accessable from in the trunk. I noticed they pull the cable out of there to install in the rear spoiler after I saw a TL-S w/o the brake light working.

Look in the trunk.

Directly underneath the 3rd brake light housing there's wires going into the brake light. Turn the base counterclockwise.

Thanks...

I’ll give it a quick look. I plan to install a spoiler this weekend and I was told to tap into the existing third brake wire and then unplug the bulb from the third brake light. Doing so will not set off the “burnt bulb warning” because the warning system will still see a circuit (the new light on the spoiler).
