rear seat carpet problem

I noticed this before, but didn't mention or do anyhting about it yet. Im just curious if anyone else has this problem. Whenever anyone gets out of my backseat, and they step on the carpet, it pulls the carpet out of place from under the black plastic thing on the door bottom. I have to push it back into place everytime. Just curious if there is a fix for this, otherwise i might try to find my own way to fix it. Its kinda annoying thou. everytime i go to get into my car i notice it popped out. And it happens on both sides in the exact same spot.

I'd think that's something the dealer could easily resolve for you under warranty? Just have them fix it the next time you're in for an oil change?

You are not alone. It happens in my car too but only on the passenger side for some reason. I don't know what can be done, there is not much carpet there to work with. It needs to be tacked down somehow, but I don't know how. Maybe staple a nylon strap to the underside, put tension on it, and screw into the door sill beneath the scuff plate.

I've noticed it, don't exactly care about it...

If it is pulling out fron under the sills on the door then there is more of a problem as that carpet is held in....or supposed to be.

Yea it completely pops out and even makes a poppin sound when it happens so i know just from hearing it. Its just a little hole that pops out about the size of a quarter or a little bigger. It shouldnt be that hard to fix.
