rear making noise after dropping

I just got done dropping my CL a couple of hours ago.

while out on a test drive, i could hear a noise from back. somethign like 2 metal parts move against each other (not rattling). I showed it to my friend/mechanic and he said that the strut mounts broke.

I didnt get a chance to look into it yet because its already dark, but will tomorrow or day after.

anyone here has had the same problem before?

haven't taken any photos yet.

Another thing could be the springs rubbing against each other. What type of springs did you install? because both my Tein H-Tech and S-Tech springs had silencer rubbers on there.

I have the same issue... i put on eibach's and when i go over a bump "on an angle" i hear the niose too. I took the back seat out and sat back their while i got my friend to drive. I thought "maby didn't tighten the it up all the way" but that wasen't it. I think its the spring. I did forget to put on the rubber spacer that came with the kit. Once i had the backs already installed I noticed the spacrs weren't for the fronts. I can go fast around turns but its only when i'm on an incline do i hear that sound.

It's the springs rubbing on each other. Did you reinstall the rubber isolators? I had it & it went away after a few months of driving.

the springs i bought were a knockoff version of tein s tech. even the box they came in looks just like tein box, but w/o the logo on there.

It may be the sway bar endlinks, but the sound is coming from the top.

I'll look into it maybe tonight or tomorrow.
I'll get back w/ the results.

we have 2 winners!

they were loose. had nothing to do w/ the springs or shocks.

just used an alan key and a wrench to tighten them up and now it rides better than ever!
even on 19s (feels better than stock)
