When I was a teenager there was something similar I picked up and we used them on our company vehicles. They did return from 5-10% better mileage. I dont remember what they were called though. One was a big yellow plastic thing that I think had magnets in it. The other actually sliced into the fuel line. I think what happens is most people strap these on, then simply drive a little easier and there's your difference.

11-12? Damn you must be hard on the throttle. I've never gotten worse than 28, but I do drive smoothly. I do like to step on it on onramps however.

Seems BS to me also. I was just wondering if anyone else have used or heard of it.

I actually get over 300 per tank, so I'm okay with my MPG.

It's just magnets from what I've heard. So get a couple high-power magnets, straps and find a fuel line to strap it to. Between this and the Tornado you should be about equal to a Prius.

I've seen ads for it on TV before, but if it works that well more people would have it, right??

I was gonna say, is this from the makers of the Tornado?
