Real Fogs- Now you see them, ...........
Jusy put in these Rally 3260's just behind the lower mesh grill. This took a lot of wiring and odds and ends work, but the result is pretty decent. They are just about invisible until turned on. I was able to pick up power through the ACC spade terminal in the driver fuse box (replaced the 7.5A with a 10A). The tough part was finding the unused firewall pass-through above the accelerator pedal.
After trimming the switch with a sander (carefully) it fit into the unused switch hole near the internal dimmer control.
The lights are mounted to a homemade "Z" shaped aluminum bracket double-stick taped to the internal bumper support. Note: Use 3M auto molding cement on top of the foam, to insure a good bond. The tape holds the bracket, but bracket to bumper support needs more grip.
Although these were driving lights, I set them up as fogs. I'll be trying some different bulbs, as the color isn't quite what I want yet.

Not my cup of tea but looks like a good, clean install man. I definitely like how you tried to hide them pretty good. I too, would like to se some bigger, night/dusk shots with them on. Are they yellow?

I'll get some night shots this evening- The lenses are pearlesce/clear but throw a yellow beam with clear H3s; I put in APC ion gold, but got a bulb made in China and one from Korea (internet) and they not only didn't match, China blew the fuse, then wouldn't throw a solid beam. Score one for Korea. Pulled those and put in Pilot hyperwhite- looks HID from the front but still throws a solid intense yellow beam- good price at $6.00 each from Autozone. Not bad, but I wish I could find an amber bulb that would match the signal/parking light color.
Suggestions?
PS- this is an 01 with the road whore lamps replaced with the 03 fairings, driver's side opened up to give real air to the CAI.
Since I go to work in the dark and return in the dark since EDT ended, these already have proved very helpful- and NC troopers don't bug you over non-conform lighting (just don't speed).

Will take them today and download. I should have taken pictures of the mounting, but I have to remove the plastic shield that fits over the hood latch to get to them (changing bulbs was not easy).
The Hyperwhites look good in dawn light, and I finally got the aiming correct. This may be a satisfying mod after all. If you try it, set aside some time- it's not a 2-hour job with the wiring taking a fair amount of time to do neatly.
