The order which I plan to do my mods:

#1 - CAI
(#2 - Comptech Axle-back exhaust (possibly or not at all - still undecided. Will decide once CAI is installed))
#2 - 18" wheels and tires (same weight or less than stocks if possible)
#3 - Replace the Blose system with real sound power. Especially since we have that big-ass trunk.
#4 - Supercharger should be available and perfected by the time I ever can afford it.

Facts on getting on the Computer MOD is that it's not worth it--for the $$--unless you have Forced Induction.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

APPROXIMATE COST PER HORSEPOWER GAIN:

1)CAI - $180/average 6hp gain = $30/HP

2)PCM mod - $250/average 10hp gain = $25/HP

3)Headers - $1300[m&l]/ 27hp gain = $48/HP

4)Supercharger - $4,500/50hp gain = $90/HP

PCM mod is ACTUALLY the LOWEST cost per HP!

Whattup Fellas,
When are are exterior mods such as body kits, aftermarket spoilers, fender flares, carbon-fiber hoods, etc., coming out for the CL? I've seen the Wings West kit for the TL and I think it is tight! Give me an update fellas! Oh yeah, anybody know about a supercharger kit for the CL?

Peace

Yeah, the TL kit is pretty tight. Wings West and all the other companies don't have anything available (yet?) for our CL But, I'm sure if someone has enough money, anything is possible...

But for now the only ways are to mold the '98+ Accord Coupe kit or use universal parts (flares, spoilers, etc.).

Ogoldn1,

Wow, that's pretty impressive for a PCM Mod. 10HP? Was that dyno proven? Was that with I/H/E? I would agree with caddy that on a forced induction car, a PCM mod maybe the best bang-for-the-buck (ie Audi A4/S4) .

My Sources tell me 5/6 for PCM Tops--and most he has experienced has been in the 4-5 HP for the PCM Mod, but I'm just telling you what I've been told. Set us straight with DYNO Charts and More proof that this mod will actually deliver this much HP.

Cheers

Xephyr has CAI listed as 9 HP not 6 as you have it. Where did you get your #'s ?

There is no dyno from Jet for our car, although I have seen dynos for the Vigor and a V6 Accord -minimum 8~9 HP thru the entire mid to upper RPM range! With our dual-stage induction and high compression engines with hi-flow exhaust, 10 HP is conservative! An AUDI A6 N/A gets ~16HP, A twin turbo A6 2.7T can get around 45-50+ HP increase. - Check out a search on Audi performance! Go to www.goapr.com - clink on "select products", check out the "chips", enter the A6 2.7T, and check out the dyno! Also, check out the S4 with a Stage II - almost 100HP gain!

Also check out the Honda Prelude numbers at this link: www.superchips.com 10hp to 19hp gain in a much smaller 2.2 V-TEC engine!(CAI&chip)

Generally, you can get a 13% to 17% HP increase with a CAI & chip combo in a 3 liter N/A engine.

So, 260HP X 15% [average] = 39hp gain (at flywheel) is ~ 300HP

At wheels: 191HP (stock dynos I've seen)
X 15% is ~ 29 HP at the wheels!...That's a little more than the headers @ $1,300.00, for ~$500.00!!!
