Ran a 2003 bmw 330ci auto

Score one for the CLs!

raced from a stop up to 80...surprisingly i beat him on the launch (barely) and kept pulling slightly. Afterwards he said he was surprised that a *honda* could beat his 330.

Yeah the 330 can keep up with a Type S anyway. All those bimmer morons think their cars are the hottest thing on the road. All that money and a slightly modded Neon SRT-4 will beat it.

Slightly modded SRT-4s can take their share of stock CLS'/TLS' too.

Even a stock srt-4 is faster than the best driven 6 speed CL-S. They make more whp and weigh less, not too much of a race in most cases.

Actually my cousin has ran an 01' M3 in his CL-S. My cousin has comptech I/H/E , but I'm not sure what the M3 had but it wasn't stock looking. It was a great race and the M3 was pissed off.. I'd still take an M3 over the CL-S anyday. But the original question was a 330 and the CL-S should run that with no problem

I beat both an E46 M3 and a 330ci yesterday in the auto-x. I'm not stock though. Driven by professionals, both the M3 and 330 should have handed me my ass.

what year M3? With your times an M3 (stock) will have respect for you considering you can keep up with them....

EXACTLY!!

not considering drivers:

it would kill them. i would like to see a stock cl-s or 330 anything run low 13s and 60 in 5s. it would kill my car also so dont think im biased. even the sti would have to bring their A game as well.

PLEASE NOTE: I WOULD TAKE A 1ST GEN 2.2CL OVER A NEW SRT-4 anyday. i hate neons.

I guess that's what you say when you read all the trade rags on them all the time.

Nice kill as you need to be on your toes to beat one.

wow.. what a blanket statement.

Not all of us "morons," think we are the hottest shit on the road, and some of us bought BMW's for other reasons than to look like, "the hottest thing."

I'm not even going to touch the SRT-4 comment, but I can assure you it can beat a lot of cars, including any stock CL, and 3 series.
