I just bought my new "used" 2001 CL. When I am driving on PCH or the 405 in areas where reception may be bad (for a cell phone), the radio is very static. Then it generally clears up by itself. Does it have something to do with the antenna?? My old car had had an antenna that went up and down, and I never had a problem with it.

Would it have anything to do with the radio controls that are on the steering wheel? If I use them, can that affect the reception too???
