Wow that pretty crezy, i just got home and had to look for mine. I just bought the car today. I ran into the gas station and left the lights on, came back started the car and it took longer than normal to start, then radio was flashing code. I was like wtf. Looked in my acura leather packet and found my radio code and my navigation code. Lucky me does this happen often?

Mines happened cuz my mechanic had to dc the battery while tuning the CL. My maintenance packet doesnt have the radio code or nav code, but atleast I was able to find the nav code inside the glove compartment.

I dont think yours is a normal occurance. I would the the battery first and see if it still holds a decent charge. I leave my lights on all the time, and it automatically turns off after 30 seconds, and doesnt drain the battery.

Thanks for help luthor, unfortunately the are closed as well as all service departments at my local dealerships. I might have to drive all weekend without any music, but the sweet reving vtec is music enough to most ears

D3MTRSPT, I was able to pull my NAV code in the glove compartment, but no Radio code. The glove compartment did have the serial numbers for Radio/NAV also for anyone who cares.

My radio serial again is 30001118 if someone have access to look it up for me or just steal it so I have an excuse to pull in a dvd deck

This number actually works for anyone looking to retrieve their radio codes after finguring out the radio serial number.

Saved me from making a 15 mile trip to the nearest dealer. Thats again Luthor for that info!

It depends on the dealership to write it down or not. Not all owners have the radio code readily available because the dealership failed to do so or it was never required before.

I made sure to write it down this time around so I wont be out of radio service any time my battery gets disconnected

now if anyone can figure out how to get my cd's out.....i would be as happy as you....

imagine....only radio...no cd's.....all the time....i wanna rip it out and do it myself but im gonna do the warranty but never have ample time to take it in....
