Hi all
i was going to change my radiator fluid this weekend and also add in the Redline Water Wetter to it so that my engine temp is slightly lower.
but my question is, what brand of radiator fluid should i put in? or does it really make a difference at all?
i just don't want to mess anything up by putting in a crappy brand is all
thanks

I would definately only buy official Honda anti-freeze. For some time the Honda Goldwing MC had water pump failures. After hundreds of replacements (much more expensive than auto pumps) an investigation was launched. The cause of the failures was narrowed to silicates. These are microscopic crystals, a hard glassy mineral found in quartz and sand. This all came to light about 3 years ago and reported in Motorcycle Consumer News, a great magazine that accepts no advertising. I am convinced that a vocal, together group and journalism can effect speedier remedies and fixes. Sound familiar. Think our transmissions. I am also convinced that manufacturers try to give us good products, but always with an eye to expenses. Moral of story: stay on 'em boys. There may be other silicate free anti-freezes out there, but do not use just any fluid as there other compatability issues also. Damn! I'm getting typers cramp. Siezeya.

with water wetter, use radiator fluid and water. i drained about 2 quarts of fluid and replaced with water. water wetter works better that way. read the bottle
