Man, I am on a hot streak right now picking up people that want to race lately. I don't get it? Anyways, this is probably going to be longer than it should, but oh well.

First of all, I'm rather ticked off. I was on my way home from class tonight, and I was entering a freeway junction that splits into a 2 lane overpass that goes upwards and starts curving down into the next fwy. I start to approach a Magnum RT that has its windows black as the night, and it seemed to be lowered (). By the time I catch up, he and I are going about 88-90mph. We finally hit the top of the overpass where it starts to curve downwards. This was our chance to both nail it. He takes off, while I'm sitting there like an idiot trying to dump the gear into 3rd, in which it didn't. It was pointless, I was crawing in 4th gear at 90mph. He basically blew my doors off. I catch up to him about 3-4 minutes later when traffic dissipates, and he's still rollin' at like 90. He went at it again, but I couldn't drop it into 3rd, so I didn't even try. I think at this point he was basically saying "fuck this fool, I'm wasting my gas". Another few minutes go by, and I'm ahead of him, because he's crawling at like 65. I wait PATIENTLY for him to catch up, which took about 5 minutes. I get next to him at around 75, dump it in 3rd, and make the move this time. He doesn't budge. FINALLY, a few minutes later, we catch up to one another with no one in sight for a good 1/2 mile. We're cruising at about 78 and suddenly, we both punch it at the same time. Only thing I remember was looking down at the speedo and it was reading 120 or so, give or take a few mph. When I looked back, he was about 1.5-2 cars behind. My closest race yet.

In the middle of things, an '05 Sentra SE-R Spec-V comes rollin' up on the both of us. When the Magnum RT and I slow our roll, this fool flies right by us. The Magnun RT gave up at this point, but I wanted to have a lil' more fun. I caught up to the guy at around 80 and he took off, with me reacting instantly. By the time I hit around 115, he was so far back it was pointless. I devastated this guy. I mean REALLY badly, to the point that he wouldn't catch up to me in shame. So, those are my stories of the night. Hope you enjoy. I really want to catch a few more races with some other Magnum RT's. Those fuckers haul ass. I'm sure I'll get nicked by a few.

There is not way you gonna keep up with a Magnum but the Sentra should of just stayed home and played Need for Speed some more.

 

haha, shizzle. I just read that website on the Sentra SE last night... the one that was gutted right down to the frame, engine and wheels or something?

as for being safe, I know I can't say much going 110mph on a fwy, but I atleast do it when no one else is around. That's about the only defense I can give myself, lol. I also forgot to mention that I had 150lb of shit in my trunk. Either way, it was a lot of fun!
