Raced a Mustang GT....where did that cop come from???
This Mustang was in front of me at a redlight revving. I could feel it in my car it was so deep. The light turned green so he took off, so I thought I would use this as a measuring stick. Neck and neck the whole way baby!!! 
50...60...70...80...90, oh shit there's a cop coming in our direction! We broke off in different directions (I think the cop went after the Mustang) and I carried my ass right back home.

yeah something like that happened here saturday nite tooo .. I am driving a POS rental cuz my car is in the shop. but anyways, around 11pm, I'm driving somewhere and this yellow stang comes up beside me. there were about 4 kids in there. doin their own thing, not trying to race. I mean I had a POS sunfire.
Speed limit was 35, the guy was prolly going about 38 or 39 (cuz I was going 35) and he was just inching away slowly ... we come around a corner and this cop pulls out from an alley and behind the stang and turns on his lights. I felt bad for those kids.
even tho we rip on stangs, sometimes they get too much heat for nothing .

Easy now....people that drive Trans AM's are in a different class than the PUNKS that drive the Mustangs. I know, I am a WS-6 Owner and proud of it.
The caliber of people are totally different, the Mustang owner would rather give you the bird or try to race you .... the Trans AM owner would rather give you the thumbs up and try to talk to you.
And you will probally never get a Trans AM owner to race you in our CL's unless you just piss them off really bad, because they know that is not worth their time and effort and besides it would be a waste of there gas.
