Was out for the night, so i decided to hang wit a friend who was driving an old thunderbird (not sc), he was middle, I was left and a red spec-v on the very right. Anyway, the spec-v was jabbering about if my car was a spec-v and stuff and he wanted to go. when it hit green, I spun like a mother and he got the jump. but when I hit 3, i was about 1 1/2 cars ahead. Ya, never raced a spec-v before and I was happy for the rest of the night.

 

hmmmm you should beat a spec-v by more than that. Was it modded?? Good kill tho

my bro has a spec v with just intake, ive seen times online with just intake or evan stock of 15.0 and a 14.9.. "those arent normal times though" my bros best time with just intake is a 15.3 at 91.8 mph with a 2.223 60ft. the cars are quick ill give them that. my bro will chirp second and third... there not bad for a 4banger with 175 hp and 180 pnds of torque. they avg mid 15s though bone stock

 

also my bro raced ant7701 at the track and was nose to nose with him until about half track where ant pulled about 2 cars on him by the end of the quater mile.. i have it all on tape

I raced one at the track and lost by like .04 seconds in the 1/8th mile... He had I/H/E, throttle body, 50 shot of NOS and drag radials, I had the shittiest launch ever and he only beat me by a tiny bit, I have the video if someone would like to host it... I have a 6 speed with AEM CAI FYI

It was natural Bridge raceway in VA so it was only an 1/8th mile...
